Harare –Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA) Forward in Faith International’s Deputy Secretary-General, Dr. Steve Simukai, has expressed gratitude for the government partnership that was brought through the Ministry of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services where students from the church’s learning institutions will get training in ICT.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony at ZAOGA FIF Christian College yesterday, Dr. Steve Simukai pointed out that the government partnership is a plus for the institution’s learning centres, and a blessing for the students.
He said the information, communication, and technology training is in line with the late national hero and church founder, Prof Ezekiel H. Guti.
“We want to thank the ministry and minister. We know that the information and skills that you have received will form the basis for your coding and programming and you will take it higher and higher. This program ended at a critical time, a strategic time wherein we are celebrating the legacy that was left by the founder of the ZAOGA group of schools,” he told the gathering.
Hon Tatenda Mavetera, the Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, underscored the critical role of embracing ICTs to adapt to the digitally-enabled economy.
