ZAS 2024: Kutsaga reaffirms excellence in sustainable conservation practices

The Tobacco Research Board (TRB) trading as Kutsaga has once again demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and innovation, emerging as the Best Organisation Exhibiting Sustainable Conservation Practices at the prestigious Zimbabwe Agricultural Show 2024. This accolade reaffirms Kutsaga’s expanded mandate in leading the way in sustainable agricultural practices, showcasing its dedication to environmental stewardship and innovative research.

 

The award is a testament to Kutsaga’s continued efforts in promoting sustainable agricultural practices, especially in the context of its expanded mandate, which includes a broader focus on environmental conservation, innovation, and community development.

 

Speaking on the latest achievement, Dr Frank Magama, the Chief Executive Officer of Kutsaga, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, “This award is a significant milestone for Kutsaga. It underscores our unwavering commitment to sustainability, innovation, and excellence in agricultural research and development. We are dedicated to continuing our work in advancing sustainable practices that benefit our stakeholders and the environment.”

 

Kutsaga’s commitment to sustainability is evident through its various initiatives, which include the development of eco-friendly agricultural products, research into climate-resilient crops, and the implementation of conservation practices that safeguard the environment. These efforts are central to the organisation’s mission to enhance agricultural productivity while ensuring environmental sustainability.

 

In pursuit of its self-sustenance agenda in the year 2025, Dr Magama added other initial initiatives that affirm their commitment to sustainability, innovation, and research.
