Zimnat recently assisted St Christopher’s Children with Disability Centre in Hatcliffe. This was through the provision of clothing, shoes, and accessories. The timing coincides with the start of the winter season making the donation timely for keeping the parents and children warm.

The gesture is part of Zimnat’s continued support for the communities through various means. St Christopher’s Children with Disability Centre’s focus is on rehabilitation therapy, such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, all aimed at improving or restoring children’s lost functions or compensating for them through the provision of various aids.

St Christopher’s Children with Disability Centre also offers activities to help children with disabilities cope with daily life and to improve their quality of life as well as that of their families. It offers to support and counselling to the children and their families.

Speaking at the handover ceremony held in Hatcliffe, Zimnat group marketing executive Tatenda Marongwe reinforced Zimnat’s commitment to continue assisting and making life better for the centre and the children in every way possible.

“St Christopher’s Centre is providing much-needed assistance to children with disabilities and the community at large. Apart from the various forms of therapy it offers, its efforts to combat and eliminate discrimination against children with disabilities and their families are very much in line with our own motto of making life better for others,” she said.
