All set for political consultations between Brazil and Zimbabwe

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade is scheduled to hold Political Consultations with the Ministry of External Relations of the Federative Republic of Brazil at Munhumutapa Building in Harare on 25 March 2024.
The above was revealed by Mr. M.C. Mukura, the Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
“The Acting Secretary for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ambassador R.N Chikava, and the Secretary for Africa and the Middle East in the Ministry of External Relations of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Ambassador Carlos Duarte will lead the Zimbabwe and Brazil Delegations in the Political Consultations, respectively. This will be the inaugural Session of the Political Consultations between the two countries since Zimbabwe and Brazil established diplomatic relations in 1980.
“The Political Consultations will focus on bilateral relations, regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest between our two countries. Zimbabwe and Brazil enjoy excellent co-operation in many areas including trade and investment, with special cooperation in agriculture and livestock production,” Mr. Mukra said.
He added that the Brazilian delegation will also take the opportunity to tour the National Heroes Acre and the Museum of African Liberation.
