Gono Cluster clinches victory at NAPH Zonal Competitions

Gono Cluster was victorious at this year’s Shamva Central Zonal National Association of Primary Heads (NAPH) Athletics Competitions.

The cluster secured the first position with 24 gold, 16 silver, and 16 bronze medals. Jiti Cluster came second with 23 gold, 14 silver, and 10 bronze medals. The third position went to Bushu Cluster with 7 gold, 17 silver, and 15 bronze medals. Magadzi and Madziwa clusters were fourth and fifth positions respectively. The competitions were held at Chevakadzi Primary School on the 23rd of this month.

At the zonal competitions, the five clusters battled it out in track and field events.

The annual event was lively with the presence of hundreds of passionate athletics lovers, supportive parents, teachers, coaches, and learners.

The winning athletes will proceed – as Shamva Central – to the Shamva District NAPH Athletics competitions to be held at Mutumba Primary School this Friday.
