Lavezh’s hit song triggers dance contest

High-flying sungura musician Lovemore Nerudzo aka Lovezh’s plug track I Want to Marry You off his latest album Giant Wanyanya has set social media ablaze, triggering a dancing competition on Facebook.

The one-month long dance contest which will see the winner walking away with US$50, requires an individual or group to choose any song from the album and do a one-minute dance routine which will be shared on the Facebook page Lovezh and the Brave Stars.

The competition runs from 18 August to 18 September 2020. Details and terms of the competition can be obtained on Lovezh and the Brave Stars Facebook page. It is open to all dancers willing to participate.

Songs making the 10-track blockbuster album include Giant Wanyanya (title track), I Want To Marry You, Dzidzanai featuring Somandhla “Mafia” Ndebele, Vandinotemba Naye, Mkoma Gidza, Ndiphembeleleni, Simba Mukaka featuring Mark Ngwazi, Vanodanana, Kusaziva Kufa and Usatsamwe.

The album was mixed and mastered by Osker Chamba at KOM Studios in Harare.

The 35-year old Brave Stars frontman now boasts of five albums under his belt namely; Farai Nesu (2017), Chikuru Kufema (2018), Wenyama Ngaafare (2019), Mwari Mupenyu (2019) and Giant Wanyanya (2020).
