Johanne Masowe Yenyenyedzi Nomwe apostolic sect High Priest Madzibaba Mtandwa takes pride in delivering people from spiritual bondage and sickness, converting them to the ways of God.


Born Hebert Mtandwa sixty years ago in Gokwe in a family of 16 children, the  Johanne Masowe Yenyenyedzi Nomwe apostolic sect leader is renowned for his prophetic gift and spiritual healing of various ailments including epilepsy, mental illness, stroke, those unable to conceive (kuuchika), casting out evil spirits and breaking spiritual bondage through altar calls.


He received his prophetic calling in 2001 and is based at Nyamukanga, Dzikamidzi in Zvimba near Dzikamidzi Primary School, in Marawa area (Zowa).


His sect has numerous branches around the country including in Harare (Kuwadzana 6) and Bulawayo. Being the sect’s high priest, he operates throughout the country delivering people from spiritual enslavement.


In an interview with this publication, the sixty-year-old cleric said: “Delivering people from spiritual bondage is not for the faint-hearted. Without the anointing of the Holy Spirit, it is impossible and all the work we do is by the power of the Holy Spirit. I help people from all walks of life upon payment of a consultation fee. I also receive appreciation from those who are grateful for their deliverance.
