NetOne was part of the 30th Anniversary of the OK Grand Challenge Promotion where it handed over prices to winners at the OK Mart on Friday 15 June 2018.

According to Tendai Makomva, the OK Zimbabwe Marketing Manager, the retail brand was happy to partner NetOne among other leading corporates in celebrating 30 years of “changing lives, shaping brands and stirring economic growth.”

“NetOne is among the corporate giants that have shown belief in the biggest and most prestigious retail promotions in Zimbabwe. With support from such partners as Netone, we had an incredible promotional experience in 2018. The year was full of wonderful learning and incredible new additions to the execution of our promotion. Our strength and position in the market as the retail giant from time immemorial is truly ratified by the customers, business partners and our ever hardworking staff,” Makomva said.

NetOne was one of the major sponsors through their OneMoney and OneFusion brands.

The biggest winner on the day was Grace Mhandu from Norton who won a brand new OneFusion Nissan NP200. Grace was ecstatic and thanked NetOne for making her a vehicle owner.

She brought an entourage of friends and family members who all migrated to NetOne on the day.

Moses Ruwona of Victoria Falls walked away with $5100 that was deposited into his OneMoney Account. His experience with OneMoney is what made him a winner and had this to say: “OneMoney has proved to be very efficient and reliable for me. It is actually my bank now as I do all my business transactions on the platform. The debit card, which I got for free, works wonders. My family and business associates are now on the platform and I enjoy great convenience.”

The other winner was Job Sakala from Gweru who walked away with $2500. The other big winner was Edson Muzenda who got $1500 deposited into his account. Other ten winners walked away with $100 on the day.

Handing over the prizes at the event, Dr Eldrette Shereni the Executive Marketing and Public Relations at NetOne congratulated the winners and encouraged them to continue using NetOne products and services. She said NetOne would remain committed to providing reliable services with its main thrust being on customer centricity.

Forty-three cars were among the prizes because of OK Zimbabwe’s supplier partners like NetOne. The OK Zimbabwe Grand Challenge Jackpot Promotion which has become an indelible part of the fabric of Zimbabwe, remains the only retail promotion in this part of the world that brings total involvement of all stakeholders.
