Popular international perfume brand Carolina Herrera will unveil their new fragrance the CH Men Privé on the local market next month.

The launch will be in sync with South Africa but ahead of other African nations. Speaking at a prelaunch breakfast meeting at Meikles Hotel, Puig SSA brand manager, Marco Loureiro described as the new fragrant and its packaging as warm and luxurious with notes of whisky and leather, provocative, modern and rich.

“CH Men Privé perfectly embodies the Carolina Herrera man who is ready to imbue passion into everything he does. With its polished black lacquered bottle, the sleek look of CH Men Privé was inspired by a handsome and classic flask,” said Loureiro.

“Provocative hints of gold add elegance, making the bottle a powerful statement of sophistication and masculinity. CH Men Privé perfectly embodies the Carolina Herrera man who is ready to imbue passion into everything he does, you put it on and you will be confident.”

CH Men Privé has already been availed in stores in Spain, Latin America, Russia and Middle East amongst others last month. The fragrant together with the rebranded female perfume will hit retail outlets before the end of month for an early November launch.

The female fragrance of CH Carolina Herrera has a new gold packaging with red casing, and a delicate CH chain hanging from the bottle like one would expect from a fine piece of jewelry or a luxurious handbag.

“It is feminine, elegant and slightly elusive. A blend of citrus and fruits followed by notes of rose, jasmine, sandalwood and transparent musk. Like the CH Carolina Herrera woman, the scent is effortlessly chic and modern,” .Loureiro said.

The fragrances are owned by Venezuelan-born American designer Carolina Herrera de Baez, who is the creative director at House of Fragrances Carolina Herrera.

Carolina has been working on creating perfumes for the company for over a decade, while her fashion ideas have achieved great success over the years.

The new range launched its first fragrance, the eponymous Carolina Herrera for women, in 1988, and has launched a series of successful fragrances for men and women over the years.

The company expanded its offering with the CH lifestyle brand in 2008, which includes accessories and home goods in addition to fashion, as well as a new series of fragrances for men and women under the CH label.
