Online tickets to multi-genre South Africa-based Zimbabwean musician, Mr. P’s live gig have been sold out, Isaac Sande, the artiste’s manager, has revealed.

“The live show will be held tonight at Johannesburg’s Razzmatazz Beer Garden. l can confirm that all online tickets have been sold out and would like to advise those who would like to attend to come and make payments at the entrance point,” said Sande.

According to Sande (aka Lyck D), the event will mark the official launch of Mr. P’s fourth album titled Tipindewo. The 12-track offering embraces Amapiano, Afro-pop, and dancehall. It’s a mixed bag meant to cater to music followers of various genres and all age groups.

Mr. P (real name Precious Hanya), made headline news in September last year when he became the first Zimbabwean musician to produce a complete animated video. Cellphone, the song which led to the production of the music video, featured the celebrated musician Derreck Mpofu.

Tonight’s event will see Mr. P performing with his 8-member ensemble, the Zambezi Crew. The band includes some of the big names in the Zimbabwe music industry: Gonyeti (formerly of JahPrayzer’s band), Nicolas Musonza (formerly with the late music icon Oliver ‘Tuku’ Mutukudzi), and Bella (formerly with late Chioniso Maraire), to name but a few.

Jah Signal will be among the local musicians who will grace Mr. P’s maiden live performance. Razzmatazz, the venue for tonight’s event, is popular for hosting Zimbabwean musicians. Enzo lshall and Killer T are known to have performed at the entertainment spot in the past.
