RayDizz and Simba Tagz set trend with new video

Celebrated local artist, RayDizz who made his mark on the international scene when he represented Zimbabwe in Las Vegas for the Miller Sound Clash last year has strike again; this time with a high quality video befitting of international accolades, way above the local standards.

RayDizz, real name Rayhaan Jassat, collaborated with fellow party stopper, Simba Tagz in a remix video of Party. The video was released on YouTube last week and has drawn close to 3000 hits.

RayDizz’s manager Phil Chad said, “On Party the two juggernauts of Zimbabwe’s urban music scene come together to collaborate on a song with a high energy delivery and an impressive video that is set to raise the bar for Zimbabwean and African visuals.”

The ground breaking video was directed by Chris Shoca and blends scenes of RayDizz performing and touring in Las Vegas with clean studio shots featuring him and Simba Tagz shot in Harare.

“The beautiful images capture the essence and energy of the song perfectly, as we see how two of Zimbabwe’s biggest urban acts party,” said Chad.

Party originally appeared on Simba Tagz’s critically acclaimed Black project.

The song was produce by Kyle Abrahams – a Zimbabwean born producer based in London who has produced hits for Kid Ink, Jessie J, Connor Maynard, and Angel, among others.

“The song’s melodic chorus which fuses Hip Hop, R&B and dance music perfectly is sure to be a hit on dancefloors this summer,” he added.
