Tsitsi Kudita Chawasarira descends on Harare for Gospel Concert

Singer and songwriter Tsitsi  known as Tsitsi Kudita Chawasarira daughter of a Radio personality Pastor Godfrey Kudita will be coming back home for her first concert named IN HIS PRESENCE ZIMFEST WITH TSITSI on the 18th of August feat various artists. The artists to feature are Pastor Godfrey Kudita, Pastor Josh Kays, Pastor Olinda Marowa Ziwenga, Pastor Gee,Minister Ellard Cherai, Tekina and Sabastian Magacha.

 

Homecoming Zimfest is to rebrand Tsitsi again in Zimbabwe. Tsitsi is well known for her famous song “Mufaro Wangu”, playing One Gospel has helped her market her music in different african countries like Uganda, Zambia and Botswana. Tsitsi will be releasing a new single titled “My Everyday Jesus” written in Shona, Zulu and English language this July 2018.

 

Brief History 

 

Tsitsi is a rising Zimbabwean artist, born in Harare Zimbabwe on the 17th of July 1988. Tsitsi started singing at the age of 6 in Sunday school plays and she moved to the UK at the age of 11 where she sang in the National Praise and Worship.

 

In 2006 recorded her first debut album which was number 1 on Power fm(Zim) with the single “Good morning Holy Spirit” featuring her father Pastor Godfrey Kudita.

In 2010 She recorded an album called “Mufaro Wangu” featuring Sabastian Magacha, Kudzi Nyakudya, Pastor Gee, Pastor Godfrey Kudita, Welly Kwenda and it also did very well on the charts. 2011 She featured the song “Mufaro Wangu” on Zimpraise and it went Global. She then got married to Gift Chawasarira and moved to South Africa.

 

The year 2014 saw her recording a live audio CD which got her nominated for the Permican awards and Zim Achievers(SA) in 2015.

 

In 2016 she recorded her first Live DVD “Thankful” which is now playing on One Gospel and many other gospel channel including Zim local channels and several radio stations. She also managed to minister at Highpraise International “Bishop Benjamin Dube’s church.”

 

Last year (2017) Tsitsi travelled to and from Zimbabwe recording singles with the likes of Obert Mazivisa, Psalmist Josh Kays, Mathias Mhere, Zimpraise(Mufaro Wangu Reprise). In September she was privileged to share the stage with the likes of Ntokozo and Ncubeko Mbatha, Zaza Mokhethi, Bishop John Francis, Bishop TD Jakes and Bishop Tudor Bismarck. I’m December that year she Toured Uganda where she also got to minister at Miracle Centre Kampala, Pastor Robert Kayanja’s church.

 

In 2018 Tsitsi started a TV show called “Simply Gospel” with her music and this Tsitsi is reaching out to the lost souls and diminishing Pride that artists have especially in the gospel industry.
