As teams battle to consolidate positions on the log standings, this Wednesday the Castle Lager soccer premiership games for week 21 kicks off across the country.

The pace setters on the pile, Ngezi Platinum Stars takes on Yadah FC at Baobab stadium in Mhondoro tomorrow. The Tonderai Ndiraya coached side are now on 40 points after dismissing How Mine FC by 2 goals to 1, at Luveve stadium last Saturday.

Madamburo as Ngezi Platinum is affectionately known by its legion of fans is on the radar after a trot of fine performance in the last 3 matches since losing 1-0 away to Triangle United at Gibbo stadium.

Chicken Inn who drew their last match against FC Platinum one all, will welcome Triangle United at Luveve tomorrowafternoon. Triangle United won their last match against Bantu Rovers 1-0 at Gibbo stadium. The gamecocks are now second with 39 points.

Former champions Dynamos will lock horns with Hwange FC on the same day at Rufaro stadium. Dembare first game beat the coal miners 1 nil courtesy goal from midfielder Emmanuel Mandiranga. The Harare giants are on third position with 36 points, four points behind log leaders Ngezi Platinum Stars.

Lloyd Mutasa coached side have a game in hand with struggling Caps United and a replay with Chapungu which was abandoned at 56 minutes after the goal post collapsed, when Dembare was leading 4-0 at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.

The Norman Mapeza coached side will be trying to find a winning formula after sharing the spoils with Chicken Inn in their last match.
