TelOne is exhibiting at the 2023 edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) that is running under the theme “Sustained Agricultural Growth through Connectivity Solutions”.
In an interview with this publication, a TelOne spokesperson said the company is showcasing Broadband, TelTrack, Crop Monitoring, and TelOne Voice service.
TelTrack is a vehicle-tracking product that is ideal for tracking farming fleets. TelTrack is a world-class vehicle tracking and monitoring solution based on a technology used in over 23 countries. This solution improves efficiencies for organisations and farmers and reduces abuse of resources.
“You can see the location of your vehicle all the time from your mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. And you get driver behaviour reports such as harsh braking, speeding, sharp turning, etc. On the other hand, TelTrack also has the best fuel management solution in town which notifies you when someone drains fuel from your tank and helps with monitoring the general use of fuel.
This comes with 4 packages to choose from which are the Basic, Fleet lite, Premium, and the Tractor Package,” the spokesperson said.
To register for TelTrack, visit the TelOne stand at the ZAS or any of the TelOne Client Service centres countrywide.
“We are also offering TelOne Crop Monitoring solution which ensures that farmers can make critical decisions based on high-quality earth observation data. Farmers get to make decisions that can improve their crop yields. The solution tells them about soil moisture levels, the health of the crop, and if there are any pests attacking the crop.
“Farmers are able to enjoy access to the latest technologies through TelOne’s Broadband service. Our VSAT solution can get farmers connected anywhere in Zimbabwe, even in the remotest of areas.”
